Description:

  • Join PENN Entertainment as a Software Engineer on the Sportsbook Platform team, responsible for backend systems powering theScore Bet Sportsbook.
  • Work with a tech stack including Elixir, Phoenix, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Kubernetes to develop and optimize APIs and systems for live sports betting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience with a strong foundation in computer science and production systems.
  • Proficient in modern web frameworks, API development, relational databases, and containerized environments.
  • Experience with load testing, performance regression remediation, and on-call rotations for production services.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in mentoring and collaborating in an agile environment.
