Description:

Seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure enterprise SQL Server environments.
Requires expertise in performance tuning, high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR), automation, Azure SQL platforms, and production support.

Requirements:

7+ years of hands-on SQL Server DBA experience in production environments.
Strong expertise in SQL Server architecture and internals (Buffer Pool, Plan Cache, Transaction Log, TempDB).
Advanced query and server-level performance tuning skills.
Deep understanding of Always On AGs, FCI, Replication, CDC, and Log Shipping.
Strong experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery scenarios.
Solid knowledge of SQL Server security and compliance controls.
Experience with automation and scripting (T-SQL, PowerShell).
Working knowledge of Azure SQL and monitoring tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong troubleshooting ability, communication skills, and ownership mindset.
