Description:

Lead full stack development for the Digital Services team at Wellmark, Inc., focusing on high-performing software solutions.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, Architects, and DevOps engineers to create responsive applications and ensure a seamless user experience.
Develop and optimize web pages and backend architecture for speed, accessibility, and security.
Provide production support, conduct root cause analysis, and guide defect resolution.
Contribute to a collaborative agile environment, including PI Planning and retrospectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Technology, or related field and 72 months of experience in software development.
48 months of experience in the health insurance industry.
Proficiency in front-end technologies: Angular, HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, and Bootstrap.
Proficiency in back-end technologies: Node.js, Express.js, Swagger/OpenAPI, and JWT.
Experience with SAFe and Agile methodologies, and understanding of monolith, microservice, and event-driven architecture.
Familiarity with database technologies: MongoDB, DynamoDB, and MySQL.
Experience with cloud technologies: AWS services (Lambda, S3, etc.) and containerization using Docker.
Knowledge of CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and test-driven development principles.

Fully remote work flexibility with the option to work from a Wellmark office if desired.
