Description:

Lead full stack development for the Digital Services team at Wellmark, Inc., focusing on high-performing software solutions.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to create responsive applications and ensure a seamless user experience.
Develop and optimize web pages and backend architecture for speed, accessibility, and security.
Provide production support, conduct root cause analysis, and guide team members in identifying improvement opportunities.
Contribute to a collaborative agile environment, including PI Planning and retrospectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Technology, or related field and 72 months of software development experience.
48 months of experience in the health insurance industry.
Proficiency in front-end technologies: Angular, HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, and Bootstrap.
Proficiency in back-end technologies: Node.js, Express.js, Swagger/OpenAPI, and JWT.
Experience with SAFe and Agile methodologies, and understanding of monolith, microservice, and event-driven architecture.
Familiarity with database technologies: MongoDB, DynamoDB, and MySQL.
Experience with cloud technologies: AWS services (Lambda, S3, etc.) and containerization using Docker.
Knowledge of CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and test-driven development principles.

Fully remote work flexibility, with the option to work from a Wellmark office if desired.
