Description:

Remotebase is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation) to join their team.
The role involves designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions.
Responsibilities include reviewing system requirements and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
The ideal candidate will monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
Key responsibilities include reviewing requirements and specifications, creating detailed test plans and test cases, estimating and coordinating testing activities, and developing automation scripts using open source tools.
The candidate will also identify, document, and track bugs, perform regression testing, develop testing processes, liaise with internal teams, investigate non-conforming software, and stay updated with new testing tools and strategies.

Requirements:

The candidate must have a proven work experience of 5+ years as a QA in the IT industry.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes is required.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases is essential.
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing is necessary.
The candidate should have experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting is required, and familiarity with automation tools is a plus.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is necessary.
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject is required.
The candidate should have experience with different types of testing including WEB, API, and DB.
Experience with CI/CD and Appium for both iOS and Android, as well as offline testing, is required.
Strong attention to detail is essential.
The candidate must be comfortable using Python and JavaScript, preferably Python.
