Description:

Alabama Solutions is looking for a Ssr. full-stack Engineer to support a key account at its international business unit (HNDevs).
The Ssr. full-stack engineer will make full-stack contributions to a number of projects.
This is a contractor (1099) full-time position, and the company does not accept C2C candidates.
The position is open for candidates in Uruguay and Argentina, preferably in Buenos Aires and the Montevideo Area.
The client’s projects typically involve building using React/Typescript on the frontend and Node.js/NestJS/Typescript on the backend.
Candidates will often face challenges involving working with various APIs and LLMs.
The candidate is expected to be savvy at agentic coding as a way to amplify and enhance productivity, which is a non-negotiable requirement.
Conversational ability in English (B2 and above) is a must, as well as native-level Spanish.

Requirements:

Candidates must have three (3) or more years of relevant experience.
A conversational English level of B2 and above is required.
Native-level Spanish is mandatory.
Candidates should have two (2) or more years of experience working with Typescript + Node.js on the backend.
Two (2) or more years of experience working with Typescript + React on the frontend is required.
Solid experience working with agentic coding tools such as Cursor, Claude, or others is necessary.
Experience working in a 100% remote setting is required.
Candidates should have one to two (1-2) years or more of experience working with a US/Canada/UK-based startup.
Some experience working with React is necessary.
A team player mentality and well-developed soft skills are essential.
