Description:

Quo is revolutionizing communication for small businesses with an AI-powered platform that integrates calls, texts, and customer information.
The Staff Backend Engineer will lead the architecture and development of the Connect API platform, which handles nearly a billion API requests daily.

Requirements:

10+ years of engineering experience at a staff level, with a focus on real-time systems.
Proven experience building or owning public APIs, developer platforms, or SDKs.
Experience driving cross-team changes in a company with 80+ engineers.
Familiarity with infrastructure management alongside application code.
Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams.

Benefits:

Competitive salary range: $205,000 - $242,000 (SF Bay Area, etc.), $186,000 - $217,000 (other US), $189,000 - $222,000 CAD (Canada).
Total rewards package includes equity, extensive medical coverage, a monthly lifestyle stipend, and flexible PTO policy.
