Description:

  • Join LinkedIn's Information Security organization to protect members, data, and platforms through resilient security controls and threat detection.
  • As a Staff Security Engineer, define and drive detection strategy across various environments, focusing on high-signal detection capabilities and technical leadership.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in CyberSecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field; 5+ years in security engineering or incident response; 2+ years in technical leadership.
  • Expertise in log analytics, detection content for SIEM/XDR/EDR, scripting languages (e.g., Python), and query languages (e.g., KQL/SQL).
  • Experience with attacker TTPs, detection efficacy metrics, and building detections-as-code at scale.
