The Engineering team focuses on product innovation and design, working closely with the Product team to enhance user experience.
As a Staff Mobile Engineer, you will take ownership of significant parts of the mobile application, from technical design to delivery and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include contributing to mobile architecture, modernizing the codebase, optimizing performance, improving developer tooling, and collaborating with backend teams.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong experience in mobile development, particularly with React Native, typically 5+ years.
A strong understanding of mobile architectures and performance tradeoffs is required, along with experience in building reliable, data-driven applications.
Candidates should have a product-minded approach, with sensitivity to user experience and performance metrics.
The ability to work in complex, evolving codebases and improve them incrementally is essential.
Experience with mobile CI/CD, release processes, and platform-specific constraints for iOS and Android is necessary.
Candidates must be able to collaborate effectively within a broader engineering team and work closely with Product Managers and Designers.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required; knowledge of French is not necessary.

Full-time employees can work from most countries for up to 3 months per year.
After 4 years, employees can spend one month in the New York office.
