The Staff Search Engineer will lead the design and evolution of CreatorIQ’s real-time search platform, which powers creator discovery across 30 million profiles and billions of posts.
Responsibilities include architecting and maintaining Elasticsearch clusters, building high-performance APIs in Go, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of search at a massive scale.
This role involves hands-on development and technical leadership, guiding architecture decisions and mentoring engineers to deliver a high-impact search experience for clients.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7-10+ years of software development experience with a strong background in computer science.
A minimum of 3+ years of recent experience with ElasticSearch or similar technologies is required.
Applicants should have the capability to design and work with complex systems and high-load services.
In-depth knowledge of ElasticSearch and familiarity with AWS infrastructure is essential.
Proven experience in Golang development or a strong willingness to learn and adapt is necessary.
A solid foundation in computing theory, including OOP principles, database theory (RDBMS, NoSQL), and network interactions is required.
Experience with REST API development, web application frameworks, testing frameworks, and version control systems (GIT) is needed.
Proficiency in Python, PHP, or JavaScript (Node.js), Java, particularly in building scalable, high-load services is expected.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Agile development methodologies is important.
Practical communication skills in English for working in an international team environment are required.
