Description:

Lead and own security across Zencoder, focusing on hardened cloud infrastructure, least-privilege access, secure delivery, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and incident response.
Collaborate with ITOps, platform, and product engineers to improve security posture without slowing delivery, integrating automated controls into workflows.

Requirements:

Strong application security background with the ability to identify and explain exploitable flaws.
Hands-on experience in penetration testing and offensive security for web applications, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
Solid understanding of infrastructure and cloud security fundamentals, including IAM, network segmentation, and secrets management.
Experience in building detections and leading incident response efforts.
Familiarity with AI coding agents and LLM-based systems, including their vulnerabilities.
Software engineering skills to develop tooling, automation, and test harnesses.
Ability to make sound judgments under pressure regarding risk and release decisions.
