Description:

  • Staff Software Engineer (Tech Lead) for AI-Native Systems at Wheel, focused on building infrastructure for telehealth.
  • Responsible for setting technical direction, leading engineering teams, and ensuring the delivery of agent-powered systems in a regulated environment.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in production software with full-stack expertise in TypeScript/Node.js and Python.
  • Proven track record of technical leadership, designing and deploying agentic systems, and driving multi-engineer projects to completion.
  • Strong cloud-native engineering fundamentals and fluency with relational data and SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and documentation.
