Remote Staff Software Engineer

Description:

• Remote position available in specified states.
• Serve as the technical authority for BambooHR's next-generation permission service, focusing on secure user access across the platform.
• Own the architecture of a new permissions service, defining AuthN/AuthZ patterns for over 180 product domains.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years at Staff or Principal level.
• Deep expertise in identity and access management, including authentication protocols and authorization models.
• Proven experience designing and building AuthN/AuthZ systems at scale.
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals and experience with PHP monoliths.
• Excellent communication skills for technical specifications and presentations.
