Description:
- Mainspring Energy manufactures fuel-flexible, low-emissions local power solutions, focusing on the Mainspring Linear Generator technology.
- The Senior Staff Software Test & Automation Engineer will architect validation and automation frameworks to ensure safety and reliability of energy assets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 9+ years in SDET, Embedded Test, or Software Engineering.
- Proven leadership in complex automation projects and ability to perform manual exploratory testing.
- Strong software development experience in Python and C++, with skills in Bash scripting.
- Proficiency in using AI coding assistants for productivity and system integrity.
- Experience testing systems in at least three areas: Cloud computing, embedded systems, networking, IoT, controls, simulations, or complex algorithms.
Benefits:
- Salary range of $140,000 - $165,000, adjusted for local market conditions.
- Pre-IPO stock options and benefits, with a hybrid work model (onsite + remote) at Menlo Park HQ.
