Description:

  • The role involves providing configuration and troubleshooting of Cloud/Virtualised Infrastructure, software, and Operating Systems for clients to meet their technical requirements.
  • Responsibilities include in-depth administration and troubleshooting of OS, applications, databases, backups, automation, and resolving technical issues from customers in accordance with SLAs on a daily basis.
  • The position ensures services are tailored to client needs while maintaining quality standards and acting as a point of technical and client escalation.
  • Key tasks include providing service excellence to clients, identifying problems and solutions, and promoting open communication with various audiences.
  • The role requires analyzing information to understand issues, using AWS cloud knowledge to support systems deployed on AWS, and configuring and maintaining applications including Atlassian products.
  • Responsibilities also include maintaining web servers, applying networking and security knowledge, managing infrastructure with IaC tools, and designing and managing databases.
  • The position involves using virtualization and cloud technologies to provide resilient infrastructures and developing contingency plans for potential challenges.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be fluent in both German and English.
  • An AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification is required.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused technical solutions is essential.
  • Strong communicative skills in various formats with internal and external stakeholders are necessary.
  • An analytical mindset obtained from extensive hands-on experience in a technical setting is required.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills are needed.
  • Candidates should demonstrate innovative and creative thinking abilities.
  • The ability to manage a broad range of responsibilities is essential.
  • Proficiency in multiple operating systems and installation of Rocky Linux and other Linux distributions is required.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and provisioning using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation is necessary.
  • Candidates must demonstrate usage of system configuration, application deployment, and orchestration with tools like Ansible.
  • Knowledge of LVM, Kernel Parameter Tuning, firewalls, and mail relays is required.
  • Understanding of log monitoring in relation to security processes is necessary.
  • Familiarity with various data types within SQL and their usage is required.
  • Experience with web server configuration (Apache and Nginx) is necessary.
  • Candidates should have worked with middleware systems such as JBoss, Jetty, and Tomcat.
  • Experience in system monitoring (top, sar, Nagios, Zabbix) and managing Java applications on Linux is required.
