Description:

  • The Vice President / Principal will be part of the Growth & Operations Team focused on B2B SaaS and Software.
  • The role involves scaling ARR, NRR, and operational rigor across Brentwoodโ€™s portfolio companies.
  • The position is flexible in location, allowing for remote or hybrid work, with travel approximately 25% to portfolio companies.

  • The role requires partnering with management teams to identify, prioritize, and execute initiatives that drive sustainable revenue growth, margin expansion, and operational scalability.
  • The Vice President / Principal will act as both a strategic advisor and hands-on operator, implementing best practices to create tangible impact.
  • Responsibilities include diagnosing and overhauling go-to-market engines, building revenue operations capabilities, driving functional performance across multiple companies, enhancing customer success, and shaping product strategy.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 10-15 years of experience in management consulting, private equity value creation, or operating roles within growth businesses.
  • Deep expertise in SaaS go-to-market strategies, including sales and marketing leadership, is required.
  • Proven ability to build and optimize modern SaaS GTM motions and experience with pricing, sales compensation design, and demand generation is essential.
  • Candidates should have a track record of scaling SaaS companies from under $10M ARR to over $50M ARR efficiently.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, and modern ABM platforms is necessary.
  • Strong revenue operations and systems thinking skills are required, including the ability to design end-to-end revenue architecture.
  • Candidates must demonstrate operational rigor and productivity improvement capabilities, with experience in driving functional transformation.
  • Expertise in customer success and expansion playbook implementation is essential, with a deep understanding of NRR drivers.
  • Financial fluency and a private equity mindset are required, with the ability to translate operational improvements into EBITDA and valuation impacts.
  • Candidates should possess attributes such as a bias to action, structured thinking, high emotional intelligence, and adaptability across industries.
