Remote 471 | DevSecOps/Cloud Security Engineer

Description:

• Intetics Inc. is seeking a DevSecOps/Cloud Security Engineer to work on developing and implementing security controls, tools, and best practices for cloud-based projects.
• Responsibilities include designing and building resilient Cloud infrastructures, developing and assessing Cloud security solutions, monitoring security incidents, participating in shaping security policies, creating security reports, implementing Disaster Recovery procedures, monitoring sensitive data usage, ensuring data confidentiality and integrity, reviewing security violations, and providing end user support.
• The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

• BSc/MSc in Information Security or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps and 2 years in Information Security with a focus on Cloud Security
• Technical knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and proficiency with AWS services
• Clear understanding of current threats to Cloud infrastructure and expertise in securing such environments
• Experience with DevSecOps methodologies, building/deploying applications to the cloud, and working with Infrastructure as Code
• Ability to work autonomously, integrate well within a team, quickly learn new technologies, and work in the CET timezone
