Description:

Bounteous is seeking an AEM Front-End Developer for a 4+ month contract position, which is remote.
The role involves custom web development for enterprise-level customers and managing projects through their entire life cycle.
Responsibilities include developing AEM authoring and user experiences, building reusable components with HTL/Sightly, CSS/LESS, and JavaScript, and writing efficient code that works across devices.
The developer will promote inclusive design best practices and actively participate in client meetings.
The position requires staying updated with the rapidly evolving front-end world and supporting continuous improvement.
Information security responsibilities include promoting awareness of security practices, assessing and reporting security risks, ensuring compliance with data privacy standards, and integrating data protection measures throughout the information lifecycle.

Requirements:

A BS/MS degree, bootcamp graduate, or equivalent self-education is preferred.
Candidates should have 3+ years of professional hands-on front-end development experience.
Experience in building sites using AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.5 is required; experience with other CMS systems like Drupal may be considered.
Proficiency with AEM Components, Dialogs, Templates, Clientlibs, and Fragments is necessary.
An understanding of design and the ability to address inconsistencies across screen sizes is essential.
Experience with or willingness to learn the latest front-end tools and technologies, such as Webpack, ES6 JavaScript, TypeScript, and Storybook.js, is expected.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required.
Experience working with Agile development methodologies, preferably SCRUM, is preferred.
