Remote AEM Full Stack Developer (remote)

Description:

• Blue Acorn iCi is seeking an experienced AEM Full Stack Developer to join their Digital Solutions team.
• The developer will deliver complex content management solutions and work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
• Responsibilities include participating in the implementation of large enterprise AEM initiatives and designing and developing web applications using the AEM platform.
• Key tasks involve designing site structure, custom components, custom workflows, object model designs (Java APIs), implementation strategy, and unit testing.
• The developer will collaborate with software developers, UX/UI designers, and product developers.
• They will develop, implement, and configure web content management solutions using AEM and technologies such as Java, HTML/DHTML, XML, JavaScript, and web services.
• The role requires creating highly interactive interfaces and content that enhance user engagement and brand equity.
• The developer will work on responsive websites/systems that function seamlessly across various devices.
• Responsibilities also include working closely with back-end developers, setting up AEM Author and Publish instances, and ensuring code functionality in both environments.
• The developer will translate business requirements into technical details relevant to AEM and design reusable AEM components for content authoring.
• They will provide input into estimating engagement activities and execute engagements following Agile methodology, including SCRUM.
• The role involves creating events and listeners for meaningful reporting and leveraging APIs/Web Services.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have hands-on experience with Front End frameworks and MVC Frameworks, preferably React.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with web content management systems, specifically Adobe CQ5 (AEM) version 5.3 or above, is required.
• Applicants should possess a working knowledge of JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, REST, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of JavaScript principles and fundamentals is necessary.
• Proficiency in HTML, JSP, HTL, and other templating languages is required.
• Extensive knowledge of Git and Git commands is essential.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap 3 and CSS preprocessors (LESS/SASS) is expected.
• Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the development industry is preferred.
