The role involves working across data engineering, NLP, and machine learning deployment to make unstructured data—like emails, images, and PDFs—searchable, insightful, and actionable.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing end-to-end AI solutions using Azure services such as Data Factory, Databricks, Cognitive Services, AI Search, and Azure ML.
The engineer will develop NLP pipelines to extract insights from unstructured text using Azure Cognitive Services.
Building, testing, and deploying scalable inference APIs using Azure Functions or AKS, integrated with internal tools and workflows, is also part of the job.
The position requires applying software engineering best practices, including test-driven development, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure AI systems.
Engaging with clients to understand requirements, deliver on expectations, and communicate progress clearly and professionally is expected.
The engineer will work with other engineers to promote a culture of knowledge-sharing, feedback, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Python for data preparation, machine learning, and deployment is required.
Experience with Azure services such as Data Factory, Databricks, AI Search, Cognitive Services, Azure ML, and Azure Functions is necessary, with AKS being a plus.
A solid understanding of NLP concepts including entity recognition, text classification, and document summarization is essential.
Knowledge of software engineering practices such as TDD, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and API design is required.
Candidates must be comfortable working semi-independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Bonus skills include experience deploying machine learning models to production environments as scalable APIs, familiarity with tools like R, KQL, or Scala, and experience designing pipelines that handle unstructured data at scale.
Prior consulting experience or work in collaborative, high-trust team environments is also a plus.
Benefits:
The position offers a flexible work environment.
Employees will have opportunities to work on meaningful, challenging projects with modern technologies.
A collaborative and supportive team committed to growth and excellence is part of the work culture.
Access to professional development, certification support, and industry events is provided.
