Description:
Branch is seeking an Analytics Engineer II to join their team on a mission to simplify insurance using data, tech, and automation.
The role involves reporting to the Director of Analytic Engineering and supporting various architecture, engineering, BI, and special projects across the organization.
Responsibilities include managing, governing, and democratizing data through self-service tools to enable leaders to make informed decisions and develop competitive strategies.
Tasks include data engineering, analytics engineering pipeline work, developing and maintaining dashboards, troubleshooting data pipelines, and ensuring data quality.
Key responsibilities involve providing technical expertise, building data models, ensuring data quality, supporting data processes, and developing junior team members.
The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in data/reporting development, proficiency in SQL, experience with ETL processes, and familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages.
Requirements:
5+ years of relevant experience in data/reporting development, including data modeling, monitoring data quality, process automation, automated reporting, business intelligence, and ETL process design and development.
Proficiency in SQL is a must, and experience with dbt is desirable.
Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages is highly desirable.
