As an Android Engineer, you will apply the latest technologies and frameworks to ensure a smooth user experience for a large user base.
You will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to design and deliver high-quality products on Android.
Your responsibilities include building end-to-end features of the app, creating efficient and reusable mobile components, and advocating for mobile best practices.
You will also analyze and optimize UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance, and mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements:

You must have 4+ years of application development experience in Android.
Proficiency with Java, Kotlin, and the Android development ecosystem is required.
You should enjoy working on mobile apps at all levels, from networking to user interfaces.
Experience in making decisions about mobile application architecture, including data modeling and concurrency, is essential.
You need to have experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques.
Familiarity with multithreading programming and mobile memory management is necessary.
Good communication and collaboration skills are required to work in a fast-paced and distributed environment.
Previous experience working with a remote, distributed team is beneficial.
Bonus: Experience with mobile video playback and streaming technologies is a plus.

The position offers permanent remote work.
