The engineer will work on the platform to enable Enterprise partners to bring innovative financial services to market.
The platform operates on AWS with a DevOps approach and continuous delivery workflow.
The engineer will enhance and maintain Moneyhub’s API, track its usage and performance, and gain experience in AWS, Kubernetes, Node.JS, OpenBanking, and APIs.
The team is active in the Open Banking and Open Finance technical community, offering a trust-first culture and freedom to experiment.
Responsibilities include collaborating with Agile delivery teams, contributing code, improving the platform, designing data pipelines, and providing technical support.
The company values software design principles, learning new tools, effective communication, problem-solving, testing, web security, and familiarity with web technologies and operating systems.
Essential skills include Node.js, Docker, and SQL/NoSQL databases, while nice-to-have skills include authentication methods, AWS tooling, Kubernetes, and data engineering.
Requirements:
Understand software design principles, functional programming, and enjoy learning new tools and techniques.
Communicate effectively, solve problems systematically, use testing to validate solutions, and have some understanding of web security and accessibility.
Be familiar with web technologies, databases, CDNs, Unix-like operating systems, and working practices like TDD, CI/CD, and DevOps.
Have experience with Node.js, Docker, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
Nice-to-have skills include authentication methods, Open banking/finance/fintech experience, AWS tooling, Kubernetes, knowledge of other languages, and data engineering experience or willingness to learn.
