Description:
ProSidian is seeking an Application Engineer to provide IT System Lifecycle Development and Management Support Services for the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) on behalf of the FDA.
The role involves project management services under a Single Award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) awarded by the FDA contracting manager.
The contractor will provide a full range of technical and management services necessary to develop, maintain, and enhance CFSAN systems, including Custom Computer Programming Services.
Responsibilities include maintaining, supporting, and evolving code, scripts, views, triggers, jobs, designs, documentation, reports, and templates.
The contractor will also establish an ordering vehicle for developing and maintaining Computer to Plate (CTP) systems, processing structured and unstructured data.
The FDA expects to add 2-5 new applications/systems to the BPA annually.
Training services will be provided to CFSAN stakeholders for existing applications, application changes, or newly-developed applications.
The contractor will perform tasks across nine areas, including project management, operations and maintenance, system integration, data migration, and training support.
Requirements:
Candidates must have expertise in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating human resources programs, particularly in large organizations.
Successful experience in designing and implementing compensation and pay-for-performance programs is required.
Experience in job analysis and evaluation, including Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) exemption determinations, is necessary.
Candidates should have knowledge of federal compensation, classification, performance, and recognition programs.
The Application Engineer must analyze functional business applications, develop software, and prepare documentation.
Experience in providing Tier 2 and/or Tier 3 network support and troubleshooting network performance issues is essential.
Candidates should be proficient in business tools, particularly Microsoft Office, and have a commitment to continuous learning and teamwork.
