Description:

  • The Applied Machine Learning Engineer will work remotely and is required to be based in the Eastern Timezone of the United States.
  • Candidates must have at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in building and deploying ML models that contribute to core product features at scale.
  • The role requires advanced proficiency in Python, pandas, and SQL, with the ability to manage the entire ML lifecycle from data ingestion to production deployment.
  • The engineer will transform ML insights into clear narratives, enabling stakeholders to understand and act on model outputs.
  • A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related Engineering field is required, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ideal candidates will have familiarity with diagnosing data quality issues and experience with anomaly detection and data analytics.
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus, as is prior engineering experience across different layers of the data stack.
  • Responsibilities include tackling enterprise-scale data quality challenges, leading the development of core features, and expanding LLM capabilities.
  • The engineer will enhance interpretable ML solutions, create custom visualizations, and invent methodologies for data monitoring and validation.
  • Collaboration with customers and mentoring peers is expected, along with adapting ML expertise to various datasets.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in building and deploying ML models that impact core product features.

  • A strong ability to communicate complex ML insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.

  • Familiarity with data quality issues and experience in anomaly detection and data analytics is preferred.
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) is advantageous.
  • Prior engineering experience across different layers of the data stack is beneficial.
