Description:
The Applied Machine Learning Engineer will work remotely and is required to be based in the Eastern Timezone of the United States.
Candidates must have at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in building and deploying ML models that contribute to core product features at scale.
The role requires advanced proficiency in Python, pandas, and SQL, with the ability to manage the entire ML lifecycle from data ingestion to production deployment.
The engineer will transform ML insights into clear narratives, enabling stakeholders to understand and act on model outputs.
A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related Engineering field is required, or equivalent practical experience.
Ideal candidates will have familiarity with diagnosing data quality issues and experience with anomaly detection and data analytics.
Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus, as is prior engineering experience across different layers of the data stack.
Responsibilities include tackling enterprise-scale data quality challenges, leading the development of core features, and expanding LLM capabilities.
The engineer will enhance interpretable ML solutions, create custom visualizations, and invent methodologies for data monitoring and validation.
Collaboration with customers and mentoring peers is expected, along with adapting ML expertise to various datasets.
