Description:
Cast & Crew is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Architect to develop products that enhance back-office operations in the entertainment industry.
The role involves creating digital solutions for Accounting & Financials, Payroll & HR, Metrics & Insights, and Content & Collaboration.
The Architect will lead the design and development of scalable software systems using modern technologies.
Responsibilities include communicating progress and risks to senior management, understanding company goals, and evangelizing technology strategy.
The Architect will work with engineering leadership to maintain engineering standards and architectural governance.
Key tasks include architecting event-driven systems and microservices, designing AI-driven applications, and integrating complex systems across platforms.
The position requires expertise in cloud architecture, particularly with AWS, and development in .NET, Java, and Node.js.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure seamless implementation and effective communication.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, Test Driven Development, and Distributed Architectures.
Proven experience in software design and architecture from the ground up is essential.
Expertise in event-driven design, microservices, and AI technologies is required.
Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services is necessary.
A track record of anticipating technical problems and designing solutions is expected.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to distill ambiguity into clarity and direction.
Experience with building and improving large, business-critical systems is required.
Proficiency in .NET, Java, and Node.js is necessary, along with strong experience in RDMS and SQL.
A solid understanding of system integration techniques is required.
A passion for innovation and continuous learning in emerging technologies is essential.
Experience with event-driven design paradigms and microservices-based applications is required.
