The Operations and Enterprise Systems Data Science team is dedicated to driving advanced data capabilities across various operations domains, including Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Science and Technology applications.
Responsibilities include performing data analysis and modeling, basic data engineering tasks, staying updated on generative AI trends, utilizing custom data visualizations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing concise reports to present findings to stakeholders.
The position emphasizes continuous learning and professional development in data science and related fields.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as Math, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, or Biology is required.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a STEM or related field is necessary.
Candidates must demonstrate strong mathematics and statistics skills.
Creative thinking and the ability to apply first principles reasoning to solve complex problems are essential.
A detail-oriented approach to work is required.
Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python or R) or data querying languages (e.g., SQL) is mandatory.
Preferred qualifications include basic experience with dashboard visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Plotly Dash, RShiny) and domain knowledge in Pharmaceuticals or Manufacturing Operations.
