Description:

Kyivstar is looking for an Azure Data Engineer (Developer) to drive different life cycles of large systems.
The Data Lifecycle Engineer will have the opportunity to help customers realize their full potential through accelerated adoption and productive use of Microsoft Data and AI technologies.
Responsibilities include developing ETL flows based on Azure Cloud stack technology, troubleshooting and performance optimization for data processing flows, and building and maintaining reporting, models, and dashboards.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of technical expertise in Database development, preferably with SQL, including Azure SQL, and experience in designing and building database solutions such as tables, stored procedures, forms, and queries.
A deep understanding of data structure and data models is required to design and tune BI solutions.
Advanced data analytics skills are necessary, including designing and building solutions using technologies such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, HD Insights, SQL DW, stream analytics, machine learning, and R server.
Knowledge of data formats and the differences between them is essential.
Experience with the Hadoop stack, RDBMS and/or NoSQL, Kafka, and programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python is required.
Familiarity with version control systems like git or bitbucket is necessary.
Experience with BI tools, particularly PowerBI, is required.
A background in test-driven development, automated testing, and other software engineering best practices, including performance and security, is important.
Understanding of Docker/Kubernetes paradigms is needed.
Strong intermediate English proficiency is required, and being Microsoft Certified is a plus.
