Description:

• Atimi is seeking an experienced data developer with expertise in Amazon Redshift, AWS, and Java for a fully remote position in Canada.
• The role requires collaboration within a project team to develop products and guide the team through the entire development lifecycle.
• Responsibilities include ensuring code quality, governance, and adherence to design patterns, as well as planning, estimating, and contributing to architecture and development.
• The developer will be responsible for refactoring codebases, communicating technical decisions to the global team, and supporting live applications.
• Involvement in deployment and operation of software (DevOps) is expected, along with delivering fair outcomes for customers while maintaining professionalism.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have solid experience with Amazon Redshift (4+ years) and strong Java development experience (4+ years).
• Experience in data cleansing and extraction for the ETL process (4+ years) is required, along with proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL (4+ years).
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in an AWS cloud environment and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience building scalable software services, strong object-oriented design skills, and the ability to work directly with clients to define requirements.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.
• Preferred qualifications include Python experience, knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
