Remote Backend Developer

Description:

• The Backend Developer will be responsible for integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• They will build reusable code and libraries for future use and optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• The role involves implementing security and data protection, as well as designing and implementing data storage solutions.

Requirements:

• The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• They should have at least 1 year of experience as a Backend Developer.
• A basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is required.
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors such as LESS and SASS is necessary.
• Knowledge of accessibility and security compliance is essential.
• Experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments is needed.
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system is a must.
• Proficiency in managing hosting environments, including database administration and scaling applications to support load changes is required.
• Experience in data migration, transformation, scripting, backups setup and administration is necessary.
• Understanding of outputting data in different formats and optimizing output for specific platforms like mobile vs desktop is essential.
• Ability to create database schemas that represent and support business processes is required.
• Experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests is necessary.
• Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language like PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript, etc., is a must.
