Description:
- Atimi is seeking an experienced JAVA backend software developer for a fully remote position in Canada, with EST working hours.
- The company works with leading companies in North America, providing high-quality software solutions for mobile and web experiences.
- The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated individual with vast user experience in solving complex problems.
- Responsibilities include proactive collaboration in project teams, ensuring code quality and governance, contributing to architecture, coding, and development, refactoring codebases, and more.
- The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues, partners, and clients.
Requirements:
- Strong Java development experience (6+ years)
- Experience with data cleansing and data extraction for the ETL process (2+ years)
- Experience with Amazon Redshift (2+ years)
- Experience with Step Functions and AWS Lambda (2+ years)
- Experience with AWS cloud environment (4+ years)
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL (3+ years)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, building scalable software services, and strong OOD skills.
- Experience working directly with clients and refining requirements.
- Strong English skills (written and verbal)
- Preferred qualifications include Python experience, experience with DDD, and TDD.
