Remote Backend developer - mid

Description:

• The company is a product-focused organization developing a CRM for the healthcare sector, utilized by major clinics in Spain, Italy, and Latin America.

• The backend development department is expanding and seeking a mid-level backend developer to join the team of 13 engineers across 3 different projects.

• The developer will work on various modules of a constantly expanding product and will use modern methodologies (Agile, Scrum, MVP) and innovative collaboration tools (Slack, Notion, Gitlab, etc.).
• The role involves designing and developing new platform modules, addressing real business needs at scale, taking ownership of projects, proposing new architectural solutions, and supporting the development systems.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in developing high-traffic distributed web applications is necessary.
• Strong foundations in Software Engineering, including design patterns, refactoring patterns, unit testing, and clean code, are required.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL is essential.
• Experience with GIT and version control systems is required.
• Experience in designing REST APIs in any language and familiarity with caching and performance issues is necessary.
• Experience in writing automated tests and embracing TDD philosophy is required.
• Proficiency in the Italian language at a native level is mandatory.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with PHP and MySQL, ELK stack, serverless architecture, AWS tools, legacy software refactoring, Job Queue Manager management, AI integration in web systems, ChatBot and VoiceBot development, Kubernetes, and an understanding of MVP and incremental releases.
• Knowledge of spoken and written English is a plus.
• The candidate should demonstrate responsibility, concentration, personal organization, collaboration skills, eagerness to learn, curiosity, and proactivity.
