Description:

RYZ Labs is seeking a Back End Engineer to build consumer applications on the AWS stack using the latest technologies and best practices.
The role involves technical problem solving, creatively meeting product objectives, and developing best practices.
The engineer will demonstrate cross-functional resource interaction to accomplish goals.
The position is remote and part of a full-time contract.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of professional non-internship programming experience with at least one modern language such as Node.js, Java, Scala, Kotlin, Ruby on Rails, Groovy, Go, C/C++, Rust, Python, or C# including object-oriented design.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent work experience) is required.
Professional experience in software design and implementation is necessary, along with experience in building dynamic web applications and the APIs that power them.
Experience working with GraphQL is also required.
Preferred qualifications include strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently with little supervision, and a willingness to learn and be open-minded to new ideas.
Candidates should have well-rounded engineering skills, full-stack development experience, and experience with architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new systems.
Strong data-oriented skills with knowledge of Core Data and data structures are preferred.
Prior use of AWS technologies at scale in a production environment is also desired.
