Description:
Karbon, a global leader in practice management software for accounting firms, is looking for a Backend Engineer to join their remote team in the Philippines.
The role involves developing high-quality software that meets specified requirements and complies with Karbon's development standards.
Responsibilities include working closely with the quality assurance team, staying updated on development technologies, and fostering good relationships within the development team.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, be able to work Eastern Australia hours, and have proficiency in C#, SQL Server, and .Net (knowledge of MVC, Web API, and .Net Core is a plus).
Additional qualifications include familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, scalable computing systems, software architecture, and cloud services.
Strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, problem-solving mindset, and adaptability to changing priorities are essential for this role.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Ability to work Eastern Australia hours (Sydney Time Zone)
Proficiency in C#, SQL Server, and .Net (MVC, Web API, .Net Core a plus)
Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
Understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms
Excellent communication skills for international team collaboration
Experience with cloud services, dev-ops practices, and version control tools like git
Problem-solving skills and a self-starter mindset
