The Backend Engineer will contribute to the design, implementation, and integration of product features.
The role involves solving technical problems with moderate scope and complexity.
The engineer will support the improvement of internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices in a high-scale web environment.

Requirements:

Candidates must have solid experience with Node.js and Typescript.
The ability to write well-designed, testable, and efficient code is essential.
Experience in writing APIs (REST) and API documentation (Swagger) is required.
Familiarity with Node.js frameworks, particularly Nest.js, is preferred, but other frameworks are also accepted.
Exposure to integrating with third-party services such as Stripe and DocuSign is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in data modeling, SQL, and both relational and non-relational database concepts.
Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Jest is required.
Great communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and improving technical skills are essential.
Bonus points for candidates with experience in performance optimization, application monitoring, profiling, caching strategies, and improvements implementation.
Basic knowledge of deployments and dev-ops configurations with technologies like Docker and/or AWS services (S3, EC2) is a plus.
