Remote Backend Engineer

Description:

• The Backend Engineer will be responsible for implementing Node.js and Rust APIs, extending SQL databases, and writing GraphQL endpoints for external and internal tools.
• They will work on REST APIs for projects integrating with the BOB Fusion campaign and other APIs, as well as GraphQL endpoints for future BOB projects.
• The role involves maintaining and optimizing the internal Postgres database for the BOB Fusion campaign.
• Collaborating with internal teams to create tools for analyzing data on the BOB L2 network.
• Working closely with BD and product teams to ensure successful projects interacting with BOB.

Requirements:

• Must have five or more years of experience building scalable, secure, and efficient APIs in Node.js or Rust.
• Should have five or more years of experience maintaining and building SQL databases.
• Need at least two years of experience creating GraphQL endpoints.
• Deep interest or experience with Ethereum, EVM, subgraphs, and web3.
• Ability to work independently, be proactive, and contribute problem-solving ideas.
• Excellent communication skills in a remote work environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bitcoin.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and similar technologies.
• Knowledge of Swagger / OpenAPI.
