Remote Backend Engineer (Contract)

Description:

• The company is seeking a talented and experienced Backend Engineer to join their team for a 3-6 month contract, with the possibility of extension.
• The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems using NodeJs server frameworks like Nest.js, SQL Databases, and Web3 knowledge of EVM.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing clean and maintainable code, integrating Web3 technologies, optimizing database management, developing RESTful APIs, ensuring security and compliance, performance optimization, testing, troubleshooting, debugging, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a backend engineer building scalable systems.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in Nest.js, TypeScript, SQL, and/or NoSQL databases.
• Native English language proficiency.
• Experience in system design, architecture, and frontend integration to backend APIs.
• Expertise in Web3 technologies, blockchain integration, wallet connectivity, and smart contract interactions.
• Knowledge of security best practices, caching mechanisms, performance optimization, and monitoring tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, proactiveness, and a passion for high-quality solutions.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
