The role of Backend Engineer (.NET) involves developing new features, improving existing services, and supporting production environments for the Ideals Board product.
The position is remote and based in Ukraine, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, DevOps, and customer support.
Responsibilities include participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), maintaining test coverage, contributing to team goals, and performing code reviews.
Requirements:

Over 2 years of commercial experience in backend development using .NET 6+ and Entity Framework is required.
A solid understanding of the SDLC and software design and architecture principles is necessary.
Expertise in API design principles, including REST and RPC, with a focus on security considerations is required.
Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and/or NoSQL databases is needed.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is preferred.
Candidates must have expertise in writing unit and integration tests, ensuring best practices for testing are integrated into development.
A B2 level proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
