As a Software Engineer with the Query Team, you will work on high-traffic, critical systems, ensuring their performance, scalability, and reliability.
You will implement features to further improve query processing and better serve our customers' demands.
You will own the full development lifecycle, which includes designing solutions, developing and iterating on them, and delivering them to production while ensuring our systems remain stable, performant, and scalable.
You should be comfortable working on cross-team initiatives.
The Query Team focuses on shaping the search and autosuggest experience for customers by developing and optimizing advanced query-processing techniques like autocompletion, spelling correction, and natural language processing.
Your work will directly impact millions of users as our systems handle immense traffic.

Requirements:

You must have experience working on services with high traffic and high availability.
A solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and their trade-offs is required.
You should possess strong analytical skills and strive to make data-driven decisions.
Enjoying learning new things and jumping between different technology stacks is essential.
A basic understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) is necessary.
Familiarity with cloud technologies is required.
