Description:

The position is for a Mid-Level Backend Software Engineer in the Partners Payout team, based in Brazil and working remotely.
The Payout team processes and calculates over one million visits daily, applying commercial terms to ensure accurate payments to partners.
The role involves addressing challenges related to automation, new commercial conditions, scalability, and availability of financial systems.
The technical stack includes Kotlin and Go, relational databases like Postgres, and Apache Kafka for asynchronous communication, all hosted on AWS and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities include pair programming, collaborating with the Product Manager and stakeholders, designing and developing features, improving code quality, using observability tools, and working with SREs on CI/CD and infrastructure issues.
Requirements:
Candidates must be skilled in problem-solving, using appropriate algorithms and data structures.
A passion for writing good and testable code is essential, with a focus on maintaining high code quality.
Experience with cloud-based applications and familiarity with microservices architecture is required.
Proficiency in SQL technologies such as PostgreSQL or MySQL is necessary; knowledge of NoSQL databases like Redis is a plus.
Experience in developing RESTful web services and collaborating with front-end teams is required.
Previous experience with Go and Kotlin is preferred but not mandatory; strong software engineering skills are essential.
Prior experience in backend software development is a mandatory requirement.
