Remote Blockchain Engineer

Description:

• Nethermind is seeking a passionate and skilled Blockchain Engineer to join their dynamic team.
• The role involves developing blockchain-based solutions across the web3 ecosystem, including protocol-level engineering, smart contracts, DApps, and enterprise/financial applications.
• This is a remote-first position, allowing collaboration with a globally distributed team and leading industry partners.
• Responsibilities include working on full-stack engineering solutions, designing and building applications on various blockchains, developing and deploying secure smart contracts, debugging and optimizing smart contracts, extracting and processing blockchain data, developing automation scripts, collaborating with other engineers, and staying updated with blockchain technology advancements.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Go, TS/JS, Solidity, Rust, Python, Java, or Kotlin is required.
• Extensive experience in smart contract programming, particularly with Solidity, and familiarity with tools like Foundry, Hardhat, or Remix is necessary.
• Candidates must have the ability to implement efficient algorithms, design complex data structures, and understand good software architecture and engineering processes.
• A deep understanding of Ethereum blockchain architecture and the DeFi landscape, including lending protocols, AMMs, and stablecoins, is essential.
• Experience in developing off-chain applications that integrate with web3 protocols using libraries like Web3.js and ethers.js is required.
• Strong computer science background and the ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code are necessary.
• Candidates should be self-starters with excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
