Description:

As a Blockchain Rust Engineer, you will join a highly autonomous team of engineers dedicated to expanding the capabilities of the Wallet Core library.
The Wallet Core library is an open-sourced, cross-platform library that implements low-level cryptographic wallet functionality for a high number of blockchains.
Your contributions will directly impact the ease with which developers integrate blockchain technologies into their applications, fostering broader adoption and enhancing user experiences.
Responsibilities include researching, designing, and developing new blockchains in Rust, as well as implementing new features for existing blockchains.
You will design robust architectures to ensure that the Core library integrates seamlessly with various blockchains and third-party systems.
You will also be responsible for migrating existing C++ code to Rust for enhanced security, robustness, and memory safety.
Writing well-tested code and maintaining high test code coverage will be essential parts of your role.

Requirements:

You must have 2+ years of experience working in Crypto/Blockchain using Rust, GO, or C++.
A strong software development background and knowledge of common algorithms and data structures are required.
You should possess strong knowledge of writing efficient and safe code.
A self-managed, proactive work style is essential, with the ability to work independently within a team-centric environment.
Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills are necessary, including exceptional English written communication.
You should be adept in modern development practices, including automated testing and continuous integration for library development.
Experience with cryptography/security and familiarity with iOS/Android/Rust/Wasm are considered a plus.
