Description:
We are looking for a passionate Pulumi Cloud Architect to bring Pulumi’s cloud programming model to the world.
You will be a part of realizing a vision where every developer can program the cloud.
As an early member of our Professional Services team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, customized solutions to our customers.
Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with a strategic customer to understand their infrastructure needs, design tailored solutions, and implement them effectively using Pulumi's cutting-edge technology.
This is a customer-facing engineering role, where your contributions to customer engagements will quickly establish and underpin reference architectures and cloud best practices.
By leveraging Pulumi's infrastructure as code (IaC) approach, organizations can streamline the migration process, automate infrastructure provisioning, elevate security, and achieve greater agility and scalability in the cloud.
You will help transform organizations with modern applications, data, and AI powered capabilities.

This role is 100% remote within the U.S., and we are committed to our remote workforce and building a cohesive team.
Requirements:
You must have 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development for cloud infrastructure or related functions involving scoping, prioritizing, and managing cloud architecture and engineering deliverables.
Strong proficiency in software engineering fundamentals including clean and concise code, writing documentation, refactoring, and test-driven development is required.
You should be comfortable with at least two programming languages among Python, TypeScript, Go, C#, and Java, and willing to learn others.
Deep familiarity with core web infrastructure, application modernization, software development best practices, Open Source technologies, cloud security, and public and private cloud platforms is essential.
Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure with Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or similar technologies is necessary.
Strong proficiency in Azure, AWS, or GCP services including compute, networking, storage, and security is required.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster deployment, configuration, and management is needed.
Experience with consulting and project delivery management is preferred.
You must demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong team collaboration skills, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking are essential for success in this role.
