Remote Cloud Engineer (Remote)

Description:

• Join PolicyMe, a remote-first, Toronto-based startup modernizing the life insurance industry.
• As a Cloud Engineer, you will build, support, and enhance the infrastructure to propel PolicyMe's growth.
• Work with engineering teams to create proper tooling for their success.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the security of the infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain scalable infrastructure.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines to serve new use cases.
• Analyze and configure environments to secure systems against cybersecurity threats.

Requirements:

• You must have 2+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• A BS degree in Computer Science is required.
• Experience working in AWS and UNIX/Linux environments is necessary.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and automation is essential.
• You should be proficient in Python.
• The ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced startup environment is required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills are necessary.
