Description:

  • Civica is seeking a skilled Cloud Network Engineer to join their dynamic team.
  • The position is home-based and requires expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), AVS (Azure VMware Solution), Cisco, Ansible, and Automation.
  • The Cloud Network Engineer will be responsible for implementing and supporting customer solutions within the datacentre infrastructure.
  • Key responsibilities include deploying and managing Cisco network hardware, supporting customer WAN solutions, troubleshooting project support issues, and facilitating continuous improvement through documentation.
  • Essential competencies include advanced technical knowledge of Azure VMware Solution, strong communication skills, commitment to skills maintenance, ability to manage multiple projects, willingness to provide remote or onsite service during core and non-core hours, and the ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC or above).
  • Preferred skills include CCNP certification, experience with network automation, familiarity with load-balancer products, knowledge of high-security solutions, experience with networking in various platforms, design skills for secure Internet provisioned applications, and exposure to Public Cloud networking, particularly Azure.

Requirements:

  • Advanced technical knowledge of Azure VMware Solution with experience in VMware NSX-T, Cisco ACI, ASA/Firepower, ISP, and MPLS networks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to maintaining skills and certifications.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to provide remote or onsite service during core and non-core hours.
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC or above).
  • CCNP or higher certification.
  • Experience with network automation (Python, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with load-balancer products such as F5, Netscaler, and NSX.
  • Knowledge of Cisco Meraki and high-security, high-availability solutions.
  • Experience with networking in VMWare, Microsoft, and Linux platforms.
  • Design skills for delivering Internet provisioned applications securely.
  • Exposure to Public Cloud networking, particularly Azure.
