Seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Security Specialist with expertise in securing AWS and Azure platforms.
Must have hands-on experience in cloud security, focusing on areas like Identity and Access Management, Data Protection, Infrastructure Security, Logging and Monitoring, Incident Response, and Compliance Frameworks.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different teams are essential.
Responsible for securing cloud platforms by applying best practices and industry standards.
Develop and implement Identity and Access Management strategies for secure access control.
Implement data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information in cloud environments.
Enhance infrastructure security through proper configurations and security controls.
Establish logging and monitoring mechanisms to detect and respond to security incidents.
Lead incident response efforts to address security breaches or vulnerabilities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Review cloud architecture designs and provide security enhancement recommendations.
Communicate security risks and best practices to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Automate security processes through programming skills.
Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud security, offering guidance and support to the team.
Mentor junior team members and drive security initiatives forward.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
5-8 years of experience in developing and deploying security architectures.
Relevant security certifications like CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert.
Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and data protection strategies.
In-depth understanding of infrastructure security principles and practices.
Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring tools for cloud environments.
Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
Knowledge of technical security control environments and compliance frameworks.
Proficiency in cloud architecture, operations, identity access management, security, automation, and orchestration.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols and security standards.
Experience with cloud-native security solutions.
Proficiency in scripting languages and API integrations.
Ability to articulate complex security concepts and lead client meetings/workshops.
Benefits:
Competitive US base salary range of $150,000 - $170,000 + benefits.
