Description:

RYZ Labs is seeking a highly skilled Computer Vision Engineer to work remotely within Argentina or Uruguay.
The role involves collaborating on AI solutions that transform the global supply chain through the development of AI-powered vision systems.
Responsibilities include analyzing real-world logistics operations to enable intelligent automation, real-time insights, and advanced object recognition using computer vision, OCR, and deep learning.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
Hands-on experience with YOLO (v8, v11, or similar) for object detection is required.
Experience with OpenCV for image processing and feature extraction is necessary.
Practical knowledge of OCR technologies like Tesseract, EasyOCR, or commercial APIs is essential.
An understanding of model training, evaluation, and optimization for real-world deployment is needed.
Familiarity with active learning workflows to improve model performance over time is preferred.
Experience with hybrid edge + cloud architectures for deploying vision models is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment are essential.
