Description:

Campspot is seeking a Contract Software Developer to join their remote team in Brazil.
The role involves working on small agile teams to build software products, focusing on both front-end and back-end development.
Developers will manage the entire lifecycle of features from planning through delivery.
The tech stack includes Java and Kotlin on the backend with the Dropwizard framework, and TypeScript on the frontend using Angular.
The products are SAAS applications running on AWS cloud infrastructure, utilizing modern tools like Terraform.
Collaboration is key, with developers expected to engage in technical design meetings, pair programming, and code reviews.
Developers will work closely with product managers to scope, refine, and test features, as well as with designers to ensure solid UX.
Automated testing is essential, with all new code requiring unit and integration tests.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions, providing feedback on code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and participating in on-call support for production issues.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience with Java or Kotlin.
Proficiency in TypeScript, Angular, and AngularJS is required.
Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in environments that practice Test-Driven Development (TDD) or pair programming.
Comfort in writing documentation is expected.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in web application development is required.
Nice to have skills include experience integrating with third-party systems and APIs, and familiarity with payment processing platforms such as Stripe or Fiserv.
Experience with e-commerce, customer invoicing, and accounting is also a plus.
An intermediate level of English is required, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
Candidates must be located in Brazil.

The hourly rate for this position starts at $25 USD, with the final rate based on the candidate's experience and skill level.
