Remote Contractor Fullstack Developer

• The role is for an experienced Software Engineer / Software Developer (referred to as Software Craftspeople) to work as a contractor/freelancer.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to build high-quality, maintainable software, engaging in pair programming and code reviews, applying Extreme Programming methodologies, participating in the full software development lifecycle, and mentoring other developers.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a high level of English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience with at least one of the following languages: Java, C#, Python, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, or PHP, along with its build system.
• Experience working as a freelance or consultant is required.
• Candidates should be comfortable with Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Familiarity with cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is necessary.
• Understanding of multi-layer application designs is expected.
• A quality-oriented mindset is essential, including adherence to best practices like Testing (ideally TDD), pair programming, continuous integration/deployment, and Agile methodologies.
• Candidates should be passionate about writing and improving clean code and systems, be true team players, resilient, adaptable, driven, curious, and eager to learn new technologies and techniques.
