Description:

As a Curricular Solutions Architect, you will be a member of Newsela’s Customer Solutions team, articulating bridges that connect Curriculum to Instruction using Newsela’s engaging, authentic, and differentiated content.
You will build relationships with districts in your territory, each with distinct content and instructional needs.
Reporting to the Manager of Customer Solutions, you will work closely with the field sales team.
You will apply your pedagogical expertise and consultative skills to architect curricular solutions that delight districts, teachers, and students by enabling engaging and aligned learning in classrooms.
You will champion client needs, requests, and untapped opportunities as identified by Sales, Marketing, Content, and Product leadership teams.
This role will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable systems that satisfy market demands by better meeting client needs in less time.
You will rely on data, research, and industry best practices to inform your day-to-day work, using creativity and ingenuity to ensure the final output is delightful to users.

Requirements:

You must have 3+ years of teaching experience.
A Bachelor's degree in Curriculum and Instruction or a related field is required.
Experience in a sales or sales-adjacent role is necessary.
You should have experience designing quality instructional resources, preferably in a cross-curricular capacity across ELA, Social Studies, and Science.
You must have experience identifying instructional needs and building consensus on the right solution with multiple stakeholders.
Preference will be given to candidates with a background in educational technology.

The base salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $100,000.
On-target commission (OTC) is $20,000, leading to on-target earnings (OTE) of $115,000 to $120,000.
Total compensation includes incentive stock options and benefits.
